Authentic Lithuanian and Eastern European Cousine
Monday, 06 October 2008 20:53

Located in the crossroads of the biggest Chicago roads, Grand Dukes is a convenient and easy place to reach. And with a little bit of wish and imagination, one might find himself in a Dukes' Lithuania of XIII-XIV centuries.

For a true Lithuanian little imagination is needed: some things have already been seen, some things have been heard before, beer has been tasted and bread has been smelled... Our neighbors - Latvians, Poles, Russians, Belorusians, Ukraines, even Czechs, Slovaks, Hungarians – will find lots in common to them also, starting with the history and ending with the cuisine. Hopefully others will also become intrigued and will be eager to find out more about the country of Lithuania and its Grand Dukes to whom Eastern and Western European nations bowed.

So stop by! If you are hungry, we will feed you well! If you are thirsty, we will quench your thirst! If you are curious, we will open the pages of Lithuanian History for you! If you are a gourmand, you will taste exotic Lithuanian dishes and beverages! If you look for romance, cozy surroundings, fireplace and candlelight are waiting for you! And if you feel homesick, Lithuanian lyrics will soothe your soul.
